Move to Rest

Meditation can be used to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain. This class combines restorative gentle yoga postures that allow you to completely relax and rest. Offering poses held for 5 minutes or more, restorative postures combined with light stretching, twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Complete with guided meditation, stretch, essential oils and optional light massage to help you heal, rest and renew your mind and body. 

 

Move with Breath

 

Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath.  Commonly referred to as “flow” yoga. Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike.  As a philosophy, Vinyasa recognizes the temporary nature of things.  We enter into a posture, are there for a while and then leave.

 

Move with Ease

Like other styles of yoga, gentle yoga relieves stress, increases flexibility, calms the mind, and strengthens the body. Gentle yoga, in particular, can be relaxing and help enhance the range of motion. And, of course, a big benefit is that it’s accessible to people who can’t do a practice that requires a lot of flexibility and strength. In gentle yoga, the movement is slow, each movement is linked with breath, and we enter into the postures gradually—moving in and out of each pose first, and then finding a holding position.

 

Yoga Barre Movement

 

Find your zen while fine toning every inch of your body. This practice will make you feel two inches taller and three times stronger. This sculpting class will get you flowing through a vinyasa sequence designed to decompress while toning your entire body through barre-inspired movements. You're getting the best of both worlds in one workout, closing with a restorative stretch and guided meditation.

 

Move and Clear Cardio

In this class you'll dance, stretch, move and breathe! Using classic dance and aerobic training movements, along with yoga to stretch and connect to breath, this class is a complete cardio and strength training workout.  
With guided instruction and powerful music this movement class encourages students to let go and have fun, dance, move, sing and shout as we work through both physical and emotional layers within the body. Leaving your day outside the studio doors, for true stress relief. 

The result is a mind expanding and body transforming experience to Move and Clear stagnant energy, for change in both body and mind. Learn to use your fitness practice as a tool to change your life.

 

 
 

Move to Sculpt

In this sculpting aerobic movement class you'll find strength training with hand weights and effortlessly mixed in yoga to stretch. We keep the class upbeat and flowing, connecting your mind and body so that you not only strive to move with precision but also have fun. Classic strength training, pilates, and aerobic exercises have been adapted to blend with yoga postures and can use either a pilates ball, band or weights to emphasize control and assist you to do the exercise correctly as well as challenge your body awareness. You will find balance and strength.

 

 

Complete Movement

Complete Movement is just that, a complete yoga practice. Complete is a great place to start your yoga or journey or enhance and challenge yourself on the mat. In this class we dive deep into the what, why and how of yoga. Staring with a brief lesson, theme or lecture to stimulate the mind, then learning pranayama (breath and yogi breathing techniques) Hand Mudras, and guided meditations incorporated with the asana (physical practice.) This class is a mix of a workshop feel with a chance in the second half of class to put into practice what you've learned. Leave Complete, fulfilled and have learned something new. 

 

 

Move for Fun

Move for Fun is just that, FUN! In this class you'll explore how to get creative with your yoga practice and make postures your own, with lots of options and modifications. Get playful in yoga drills to build strength and endurance, trying arm balances, inversions and learn safe and FUN ways to build towards including these practices regularly on your mat. This class style IS for everyone with loads of modifications, grow your practice and get out of your comfort zone!

 

 

Move and Restore is the best of both worlds in one practice. In the first thirty minutes of class we Move through a slow flow or hatha style class. Building strength, balance, mind body connection and flexibility. As we move into the second half of the practice we find Rest. In gentle, restorative postures, with guided meditations and relaxing stretch. Adjustments and light massage is offered as an option using organic essential oils to help you find bliss.

Barre Movement

Barre classes are a mix of pilates, ballet, yoga and aerobic training, the moves are choreographed to  energetic upbeat music. In each workout, you'll use the barre and exercise equipment such as mini-balls, strength bands and small hand weights to sculpt, tone and stretch your entire body. Building lean muscle quickly with strength with stamina.
